Well, Easter weekend is over, and each member of the folster family is back home. But it was a fabulous, fun-filled weekend and I still have much more of it to share.
Me and my family, we live on the edge. When we’re on holiday we do things like go to the market and play cards. We read books and bake things. So when dad mentioned seeing wild blackberries to mum, it was obvious what our next action would be. We foraged for blackberries. It was a brutal and unforgiving task. Well, perhaps it wasn’t quite that perilous, but when the thorns weren’t getting tangled in your clothes, they were most definitely pinching and poking your skin. Not the best day to be wearing jeans with holes in them…
We managed to get around three punnets of berries (plus a few mouthfuls here and there), and a number of very amusing photos.
